An excellent way to enjoy Silverado's natural beauty is to play the two, 18-hole Napa Valley Wine Country golf courses, each in the distinctive style of their architect, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The resort courses cover 360 acres and feature lush vegetation, ponds, lakes, three sweetwater creeks, trees arching over the fairways and artfully placed traps and greens.

The 6,500-yard South Course challenges golfers with side-hill lies and more than a dozen water crossings, while the North Course stretches 6,700 yards but is occasionally more forgiving. A complete golf pro shop replete with wine country gift items is available in the Club House. A staff of top professionals is on hand to assist guests in improving their golf game

Napa Valley and the surrounding wine country area provide a cornucopia of fresh produce, herbs, meats, seafood and cheeses for your dining pleasure. Utilizing local vendors, the best example of regional specialties can be found in the Royal Oak where traditional fare and a relaxing ambiance come together for a casually elegant Napa Valley dining experience. Guests are invited to indulge in fine wines and stunning golf course views as chefs prepare grilled prime steaks and fresh seafood over mesquite in an open-air kitchen.

Good times at the end of the day or after dinner can be found in Silverado's Main Lounge, where the ambiance is friendly with generous cocktails, a great stone fireplace and spectacular views of the South Course. As the evening advances, guests may wish to move on over to the adjoining Patio Terrace. This lovely glass-enclosed portico features cocktails, dancing and musical entertainment, as well as sweeping views of the Silverado grounds.
