Located just north of San Diego in the hills of Rancho Sante Fe, Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa is one of the area's most luxurious getaways. Set on 40 lush acres of former grove land, this hacienda-style property features 49 units of spacious accommodations in 26 casitas. Some of these units even have their own private outdoor hot tubs on the patio. Additionally, the resort is home to 17 tennis courts, a spa that opened in 2006 and al fresco-style casual dining. Rooms come equipped with a complimentary wet bar and snacks, while freshly squeezed orange juice is dropped off outside your door each morning.

While there is no golf course on property, Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa guest have access to some nearby private golf clubs as well as preferred access to Torrey Pines in nearby La Jolla.
