Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club

Resort Overview

Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club, which is situated just a few minutes outside of Carmel, boasts one of the Monterey Peninsula's most walkable courses and it's also one of the best values in the area. Robert Muir Graves designed the golf course in 1963. It has a traditional layout that is a manageable 6,500 yards. While there are definitely some challenging holes, the layout is gentle enough for high handicappers to approach without too much intimidation. There is plenty of water throughout the course thanks to ten lakes and the Carmel River, which runs alongside some of the holes. Strategically placed bunkers also come into play. Thanks to its scenic locale, the course enjoys sunny skies almost year-round. Besides Golf, Quail Lodge Resort offers a variety of other activities, including tennis, swimming, and even off-road driving lessons. The resort is the perfect spot if you like being outdoors. There are numerous paths for jogging and strolling, and it's also close to Garland Ranch Regional Park, Point Lobos, and Garrapata State Park.
