Golfer happy to storm Omaha Beach

Played Omaha Beach Golf Club in Port-en-Bessin, France last Friday (March 17). It was in superb condition and although the wind was blowing, a good score was possible if you kept straight. The greens had been spiked but were fairly true. Give it another month and it will be a joy to play. As is usual in this part of France, the staff were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. A "must-play."
