Mystic Dunes right next to Disney is a course not to miss in Orlando

Mystic Dunes Golf Club in Celebration, Fla., is in much better shape than any Disney course, and I think is better conditioned than Celebration, Falcon's Fire and any other course very close to Disney.

If you're planning a golf trip be sure to include this course. If you want 36 holes, they do a very reasonable replay or you can get to these other courses in this much time:

Celebration: 10 minutes
Disney: 15 minutes
Falcon's Fire: 10 minutes
ChampionsGate: 10 minutes (ask for directions the "back way)
Orange Lake Palmer: 10 minutes
Hawk's Landing: 20 minutes
Grand Pines: 20 minutes.

At Mystic Dunes, the greens are fun, undulating and beautiful. The course is not tricked up, just very fair from tee to green. There are some short very fun par 4s with really tough greens.

Again, don't miss this one on a golf trip.

I had went there for a presentation, and sure the place was nice, think about how un-safe it is for children. In the rooms are glass tables, with mirrors in everyroom, ceiling high. The chairs are metal, and the floor are tile. They say that this is a family oriented place to stay, I say they are wrong.
I had told this to the prenentation man who was helping us, and I he had said he had heard a lot of things but this is not one of them. He had told me that I was lying and that it couldn't be possible. He said I was just saying that to not make him feel bad, when that was not my purpose. However, it should make him feel bad since he was the one working for a place like this.
They brag about how big they're golf course is and how wonderful they're rooms are, but they're rooms are dangerous, and whats more, its like you are living on the course! I would feel scared to sit byt he window, afraid that a ball might come flyinging in to hit me square on the face!
I also think it is a hastle to just get to the entrance, this way and that, its like a maze.
The man who had helped me also said that they're goal is to make sure that your stay would be spectacular, and that everyone goes on vacation to have fun and relax. Relaxing is true, but why would you go on vacation just to stay at a resort. I went to Orlando to go to the amusement parks and to see the sights, not to sit in my room the whole day, everyday.
When I had declined the man, I went to the gift area, and the woman was so RUDE! I have never been so ill treated in my life.

        Don't take the following personally.
Let's face it, you are a moron. There is no way anyone can hit a ball close to the window. I have stayed there several times with children and one only two or three years old. If metal chairs are too dangerous for you then either you are overprotective of your children (if you have any) or like a said before, you are a moron, (or even a combination of those two. And why the hell are you complaining about mirrors, can't you stand to see your reflection.
And it is pretty damn simple to get to the entrance, and if you think that is a maze then you have prooved my point, you are a moron.
And why the hell do you think you have to sit in your room all day? There is nobody stopping you from leaving the resort to go to an amusement park.
And there's no wonder the woman was rude to you, probably because you had been incredibly rude the entire day, and were only there for the gift.
        Again, don't take this personally.

Don't miss this course.....played it from the black tees and it is a lot of course. Great conditioning, greens were running at least 10 that day.....there is a triple-tiered green on one of the par 5's.
