| Annika Sorenstam (.) |
In regard to the blog post "If Tiger Woods loses at Tavistock Cup, will Federal Reserve bail him out?" [William K.] Wolfrum must have a limited knowledge of golf to write that Annika Sorenstam and Paula Creamer were invited to play in the Tavistock Cup because it is the politically correct thing to do.
Annika has played on the Lake Nona team several times, schedule permitting, as she lives in Lake Nona. Paula bought a home in Isleworth around Christmas time and now is an eligible player for that team.
The last time Annika played she outscored several of the male players, as mentioned by Mark O'Meara, the captain of the Isleworth team ... he was one of them ... and the spokesman that congratulated her for her fine play. I expect she will do well this year.
However, since this is (I think), Paula's first venture against a team comprising mostly men, I'm not sure how she will do ... but I would bet she won't embarrass herself.
You are correct about the tournament not being open to the public, but all the money raised goes to charity anyway.
