Willbrook Plantation Golf Club, Myrtle Beach

Willbrook Plantation Golf Club doesn't try to beat you up - as much as it attempts to make you swoon. This Dan Maples design is laid out on the land of two historic old rice plantations and its something different in Myrtle Beach golf. Its a very friendly golf course for women - recognized by Golf For Women magazine as one of the Top 25 golf courses in the U.S. for female golfers in 2005.

It is even more friendly to nature. The course is weaved around centuries-old oak trees rather than the other way around. Willbrooks back nine is particularly removed from the hustle and bustle of the Grand Strand. Maples has called this one of this best golf courses and he usually gets little argument.
