Wachesaw Plantation East golf course near Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Wachesaw Plantation East is located south of Myrtle Beach about 20 minutes by car in Murrells Inlet.

The golf course, designed by Clyde Johnston, has hosted various LPGA events in recent history and is regarded today as one of the most woman-friendly golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area. It boasts a sneaky-tough slope rating from the men's tees of 72.0/130.

The course weaves through a residential development and is set on a former rice plantation, as with many South Strand layouts. Each course is usually lined on both sides by trees and ponds and natural wetlands come into play frequently.
