Tokatee Golf Club in Oregon is located between Bend and Eugene on the Mackenzie River. It's a laid-back mountain golf course with views of the Sisters Mountains at every corner and plays through tight pine and redwoods.
The golf course was built in 1964 by architect Ted Robinson, and after three wide-open opening holes, the course tightens up and plays through narrow fairways between trees, some of which even sit in the fairway and in front of the green, putting a premium on ball placement.
The greens at Tokatee Golf Club also have a reputation for being fast and smooth all year round.
Tokatee is a very walker friendly course and peak season green fees are $45.
