The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs - East Course

The East Course at The Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, Colo., a Donald Ross design that opened in 1918, is among just 12 golf courses in North America and the Caribbean to have earned a 5-star rating from Golf Digest.

It has hosted numerous historic golf events, including the 1959 U.S. Amateur, won by a young Jack Nicklaus, and the 1995 U.S. Women's Open, which was Annika Sorenstam's first major.

In the mid '60s, Robert Trent Jones designed a number of holes that are now part of The Broadmoor's East Course.
