Thai Country Club in Bangkok, Thailand

One of Thailand's most well-known golf clubs is Thai Country Club outside of Bangkok, a host to the Asian Tour and where Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh have won events among others. Woods won the Honda Classic here in 1997 by 10 shots.

The club opened in 1996 and was designed by Dennis Griffiths. The golf course plays mostly flat with artificial mounding on most holes, as well as hundreds of tropical trees and loads of water hazards, some of which are hidden behind mounds. From the championship tees, the course plays 7,151 yards.

Thai Country Club is located about 50 minutes east of downtown Bangkok and features one of the best clubhouse and practice facilities you'll find in Thailand, as well as top service, which includes female Thai caddies with each golfer.
