Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada
A daunting Rees Jones design that measures 7,400 yards and carries a bruising 142 slope rating, Rio Secco Golf Club has been lauded by golf's most prestigious magazines, including Golf Digest, which named it among America's 100 best public courses. Local PGA Professionals surveyed, meanwhile, tabbed this Henderson golf course as the best public track in the state.
Six holes here take golfers through canyons and another six up on a plateau, overlooking Las Vegas. Still another six run through the desert, giving golfers one of the most diverse rounds available in Nevada. Home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf, Rio Secco has a reputation as one of the best-maintained courses in the Las Vegas area.
