Rancho Mirage Country Club sits at the heart of the Coachella Valley just nine miles from Palm Springs. Located at the crossroads of Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra Drives, the player-friendly course is popular among locals. Throughout your round you'll enjoy beautiful mountain views that contrast beautifully with the California desert landscape of the course.
The terrain is relatively flat and there aren't any blind shots. It's a course that is gentle enough for beginners but there are also some challenging holes that will keep more advanced golfers on their toes.
The traditional design of the course features narrow fairways and small greens. Accuracy is essential because if you slice or hook the ball, it's likely you'll end up in the neighboring fairway. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout and water comes into play on a few holes. The holes are diverse with some par 4s that are drivable and others that aren't as straightforward. There are only two par 5s, but the longer par 3s help make up for any lost birdie opportunities.
