Pacifico Golf Course at the Punta Mita Golf Club in Nayarit, Mexico
Jack Nicklaus has referred to the original Pacifico Course at Punta Mita Golf Club in Nayarit as the Pebble Beach Golf Links of Mexico, and it's easy to see why from these photos.
With half the holes on the Pacific Ocean and a par 3 that Nicklaus says is the only natural island green in the world, the views just keep on coming as you make your way around this extremely enjoyable resort layout.
The signature hole here is actually an optional hole - 3B. It is the second of two par 3s in a row (the first is 3A), and they are actually both really good. But if you play this golf course for the first time - or maybe even the second time - you'll want to play 3B, which measures nearly 200 yards from the tee and is all carry, except for a sliver of road, to the green. Rocks, sand and ocean surround the green.
You'll also find spectacular ocean views on Nos. 7, 8 and 9, as well as 17 and 18.
