The Greg Norman Course at PGA West is the newest course at the world-famous golf resort near Palm Springs, Calif.

It is described as "challenging but fair." With 68 acres of lush green turf, 102 white-sand bunkers and bright-blue water coming into play on nine holes of this 7,200-yard golf course, which resembles an Australian experience straight from Norman's Outback memories.

Colors abound -- purple, white and yellow wildflowers, along with a mix of tall and short native, lush green grasses -- all spread along the golf course situated in a prehistoric ocean bed 40-feet below sea level. The Greg Norman Course at PGA West is also surrounded by picturesque mountains.
