The Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Hall Plantation in Hilton Head, S.C. is the original golf course at the resort, home now to two courses, after the Robert Cupp Course was added in 1993.
Originally a Top 10 New Course by Golf Magazine in 1991, Palmetto Hall Plantation's Hills Course plays through scenic Lowcountry forests full of mossy oaks and tall pines. It plays 6,918 yards from the back tees and a forgiving 5,006 yards from the forward tees. Water also comes into play on more than half of the holes, most notably the par-4 18th, which features water all down the left-hand side, then requires a carry over water to a two-tiered green.
