Omni Tucson National Sonoran Course in Arizona

Omni Tucson National Resort's Sonoran Course is a Tom Lehman design that brings the desert to a facility long known for being a parkland golf paradise in the desert.

Sonoran - which opened in late 2005 - is nothing like its sister course, Catalina, the longtime host of the PGA Tour's Chrysler Classic. Instead, it's all about crazy climbs and dips, tilted fairways and plenty of potential ball-gobbling desert bush.

Lehman designed the course while preparing to coach the 2006 Ryder Cup team. The course is a job he did well.
