ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is conveniently located just 25 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. The resort is the ultimate central Florida family destination with more than 15 sprawling acres of sparkling pools, an 850-foot lazy river, an arcade, and tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. It's also just 20 minutes from Universal Studios and SeaWorld with a complimentary shuttle to Disney.
Though the resort is kid friendly, there is plenty for the adults to do. ChampionsGate doubles as an Orlando golf getaway with two championship courses designed by Greg Norman and also the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The two championship courses, the International and the National, each offer a unique golfing experience.
ChampionsGate's International Course has a traditional links design that is reminiscent of the British Isles complete with windswept dunes and pot bunkers. In contrast, the National Course has an American-style design that incorporates mature woodlands, wetlands, and former orange groves. Water comes into play often on the National but there are few forced carries, making it more accessible for a wide range of skill levels.
Besides golf, the resort also boasts a luxury spa and five different restaurants.
