The West Course is one of three golf courses at Myrtle Beach National, located off Highway 501.
Like its big brother, King's North, the West Course at Myrtle Beach National is all natural, with no housing on it, unlike the third golf course, South Creek. The West has open fairways and greens that, while open in front, are sloped heavily from back to front. All the par-4s play under 400 yards from the middle-back tees, and par-5s are all pretty easy to hit in two, all playing under 500 yards.
The West Course plays similar in length to South Creek, and both share the same rate structure, usually half the cost of the property's signature course, King's North.
The West Course finishes unusually with a par-3 with water to the left.
