MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Renovated in 1996, the Arnold Palmer-designed King's North Course at Myrtle Beach National has been recognized on several national top 100 lists. King's North has earned 4.5 stars on Golf Digest's "Places To Play" list and has been named a part of the "Top 100 For Women" list by Golf For Women magazine.
The golf course is famous for its island fairway and island green par-5 sixth, but there are so many holes that deserve recognition. With water, sand (there are 40 bunkers on the 18th hole alone) and trees bountiful throughout, the course will lays out plenty of challenges for all levels of players, especially from the tips, which plays more than 7,000 yards.
