The Legends Resort in Myrtle Beach is home to three championship golf courses, including the Parkland. It's a traditional design in the Alister Mackenzie or George Thomas style and boasts the resort's largest greens, many of which are multi-tiered.
Parkland also has the highest slope rating at Legends (although its sister Moorland course was rated one of Golf Digest's 50 toughest courses), but there are a few birdie spots. No. 9, a tricky and exciting short par 4 that wraps around a pond, is drivable, but several big bunkers guard the green.
