The Palmetto Dunes resort on Hilton Head Island is home to three golf courses, and the Robert Trent Jones-designed Ocean course is its most popular, according to course officials.
The ocean is a big reason why, which can be seen on the ninth through 11th holes, most notably on the 10th green, with the ocean serving as a dramatic backdrop.
The course was renovated and upgraded by Jones protege Roger Rulewich in 2002 and now features restored trademark dramatic bunkering and raised greens.
