Headwaters Golf Club at Teton Springs in Victor, Idaho

Headwaters Golf Club in Victor, Idaho is part of the new Teton Springs development, about a half hour's drive from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

The golf course design is a collaboration between architect Gary Stephenson, as well as U.S. Open Champion Steve Jones and the legendary Byron Nelson. It's a private golf course, though guests of the Teton Springs Lodge have playing privileges on both the championship course and nine-hole executive Nelson course.

The Championship course plays at an elevation of about 6,000 feet within the Teton Valley. The surrounding mountains make for some stunning backdrops. The course itself features five sets of tees going back to 7,373 yards from the Nelson Tees. There is a good deal of water in play here, especially on the front nine's two par 5s and the par-3 10th hole, which plays entirely over water.

Open only a year, Headwaters is rated the No. 3 golf course in Idaho by Golf Digest.
