Grand Bear Golf Course near Biloxi, Mississippi

Jack Nicklaus' Grand Bear Golf Course is located in Saucier, Mississippi, some 20-30 minutes from the Biloxi coast.

The Grand Beach Golf Course is set on about 1,400 acres and no holes run parallel alongside each other. The fairways themselves, however, are very forgiving, and the green complexes, while challenging, aren't as diabolical as some other Nicklaus designs.

The closing stretch, playing along the Biloxi River bed, makes for a scenic and more dramatic finish, especially the par-3 15th hole and par-4 17th.

Grand Bear is also one of the less expensive Nicklaus courses you'll play anywhere, with green fees about $50-75 depending on the season.
