If you go astray, the trees and bunkers will make you wish you hadn't. You'll come away remembering the overhanging Spanish moss or the large tree between you and the green.
The course runs to 7,014 yards at the tips but offers four other tees, down to 4,974. It creates a nice challenge, whether you're a long hitter or not. The greens and fairways at Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run are Bermuda grass, so your experience will be traditional Hilton Head Island.
