At this writing Eagle Falls Golf course is the newest track in the Palm Springs valley (opened in April 2007), and quite possibly the most under-publicized. Tucked behind the Fantasy Springs Resort Hotel & Casino, and owned by the same Native American tribe, the course was almost empty in its first weeks.
That might change soon, or at least it ought to. This Clive Clark design brings a different look to Palm Springs golf. It's full of wildflowers, open fairways and huge distinct bunkers. And oh yeah, there's a 44-foot waterfall. That's on No. 18, a great par-5 finishing hole with a green that juts out over the water.
