Crow Creek Golf Club in Calabash, N.C.

Crow Creek Golf Club in Calabash, N.C., is located two miles north of the South Carolina line on Highway 17. The golf course opened in 2000 and was designed by Rick Robbins, a former associate of Nicklaus Design.

The course winds through condominiums and planned real estate at some points, but there are others with natural beauty. One of the most scenic points on the course is the par-3 8th hole, which plays entirely over water and features a collection of bare trees sticking out of the pond - and is a popular perch for flocks of bird life.

The course features five sets of tees, stretching to over 7,100 yards and a 73.7 rating.

Peak-season green fees at Crow Creek are $89, and a new clubhouse is currently under construction, though the temporary clubhouse has a pro shop and dining room.
