Club Med Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic: An all-inclusive option between Corales, La Cana golf courses
The original resort that set off a tremendous tourism boom on the eastern side of the Dominican Republic is the Club Med Punta Cana, which opened in 1980, long before golf, other hotels or even an airport was around. Today, Punta Cana Resort and Club has emerged as a dominant player in residences and resorts as well as beach clubs and golf. Club Med, with its central locations and deep roots to the area, are a close partner.
Club Med is a family-oriented, all-inclusive resort with a beautiful, long beach, five pools and plenty of water and land activities to go around. While it's not an official "golf resort," it is flanked on either border by excellent golf courses, 27-hole La Cana Golf & Beach Club and the Corales Course. Guests of Club Med have preferred playing privileges and rates at both that include rental golf clubs and round-trip transportation.
Here's a look at some of the many things to do both on the course and off at Club Med Punta Cana, which includes archery, flying trapeze, tennis and much more.
