Cabo del Sol Ocean Course in Mexico

Cabo del Sol likes to boast that its Ocean Course has "the finest three finishing holes of golf in the world," quoting designer Jack Nicklaus to that effect on the scorecards. Nicklaus might not be wrong - but taking such a limited view overlooks the rest of his stellar work at this seaside course in the Los Cabos corridor of Mexico.

There's no doubt 16, 17 and 18 are showstoppers. But the three front-nine holes that run along or up to the ocean - five, six and seven - aren't too shabby either. This is one of the most memorable golf courses you'll ever play. Nicklaus has found a place where he can give you both the desert and the ocean, a demanding course that's a joy to play.
