Black Lake Golf Club in Onaway, Michigan delivers the goods
ONAWAY, Mich. -- Black Lake Golf Club, the first course designed by Rees Jones in northern Michigan, is the newest addition to the United Auto Workers' Walter and May Reuther Family Education Center. The course provides great views with excellent conditions, playable by all levels of golfers.
The setting is 1,000 heavily forested acres next to Black Lake, one of Michigan's largest inland lakes. The golf course spans 7,030 yards and is undoubtedly one of Jones' best original designs. With plenty of wetlands, a variety of bunkers, large greens and doglegs through the forest, the course is interesting and challenging.
There are also six sets of tees for all levels of golfers.
