Bandon Crossings Golf Course is located just south of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on Oregon's southwest coast. It's not affiliated with the resort and features an entirely different feel versus the links-style fescue turf on Bandon's three courses.
Bandon Crossings opened in July of 2007 but features lush, soft and green rye fairways and rough. The greens are a smaller, smooth bent grass that you'll actually be able to leave ball marks on after bump-and-running your way up and down the Bandon Dunes course.
There is a great deal of natural beauty out here. The first five holes play on more wide-open links-style land before heading into thick forest with a great deal of tall pines, furs and even some redwoods. Two holes play along a river basin, and the course ends with a heroic par 5.
