LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club weaves gracefully through the rugged terrain and spectacular landscapes of Red Rock Canyon. Located in the planned community of Summerlin, near Las Vegas, about 30 minutes from the Strip, Arroyo is the perfect escape from the buzz of the casinos.

Designed by Arnold Palmer, the 18-hole Arroyo offers panoramic and picturesque views. The course's No. 7 features a perfect view of Vegas' cityscape.

You'll also want to take a swing at No. 5, a booming, 520-yard par 5 that can be reached in two if you have the guts to go for it. On the other end of the spectrum is the challenging, par-3 12th. Only 225 yards, it's considered one of the course's toughest holes, thanks to the prevailing headwind.

A perfect challenge for beginners and vets, Arroyo's well kept greens offer a perfect contrast to the surrounding rugged terrain.
