MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - With new management and an infusion of capital, Arcadian Shores Golf Club, the first golf course that Rees Jones designed, is getting some TLC. There weren't major problems with the golf course, it was just a little shabby, from the building and course maintenance to, well, customer service. It's being rejuvenated, however - and those efforts are paying off.

The bones of the Arcadian Shores golf course were always sound, now it's getting some finishing touches, like thick rough, monolithic fairways and smooth greens.
