Amelia River Golf Club at Amelia Island Plantation in Florida

AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. -- Amelia River Golf Club was the perfect addition to Amelia Island Plantation's collection of golf courses.

With Ocean Links, Oak Marsh Golf Course and Long Point already part of the four-diamond resort, Amelia River Golf Club officially stamped it as a golf destination. It also gives guests and members a parkland-style design to play along with the seaside and marsh styles of its sister courses.

Located a couple miles down the Buccaneer Trail, Amelia River Golf Club winds through a pristine lowland forest of oak and pine trees. There are no houses lining the fairways. Future plans include a hotel along the Amelia River, giving the golf club its own on-site guest list.
