Alliance Bank Golf Classicat Drumlins Golf Club in Syracuse, N.Y.

This past weekend Jenny Suh won the 2009 Alliance Bank Golf Classic in a one-hole playoff. The annual tournament on the Duramed Futures Tour was held at the Drumlins Golf Club in Syracuse, New York. It is the first tour victory for the 23-year-old player from Fairfax, Virginia. Her win has also bumped her up from 56th to 15th on the tour's money list.

At the beginning of the final day, Suh and Sao-Jae Lee from South Korea were tied at 9-under with Angela Buzminski closely behind at 8-under. After the final round, Suh was still tied with Lee, both at 12-under. During the first playoff hole Suh's ball landed on the green while Lee's flew past it. Lee then chipped to about 30 feet and missed the putt for par, allowing Suh to capture the win. Angela Buzminski finished at 8-under, tying for third with Caroline Larsson and Kim Welch, last year's winner. Whitney Wade came in second at 12-under.
