NORTH LAS VEGAS - Aliante Golf Club is one of the newest golf courses in Las Vegas, opened in 2003 as the centerpiece of the Aliante residential community.
It's a relatively player-friendly Gary Panks design with wide fairways, though some of its toughest holes are its short ones, especially its collection of par 3s. The course plays just over 7,000 yards from the tips, though there are four separate tees that play as short as 5,340 yards.
There are two water hazards here, though most of the course is guarded by a dry rock bed filled with arroyo plants that comes into play on 14 holes. The course's most notable hazard lies just to the left of the 17th green and features assorted plant life and a waterfall.
