Puakea Golf Course - a local favorite set at the base of Mount Hau'upu - will host a Junior Summer Golf Academy with four sessions: June 2-13, June 16-27, June 30-July 22 and July 14-18. read more

"Students with learning differences often struggle participating in team sports, so golf has proven to be a perfect fit for our students," CSA Director Jeannette Young said. "The TGA curriculum is designed in a special way to allow these students to be able to learn the sport of golf in a very positive environment." read more

There are 18 million disabled individuals who would like to play golf, but for various reasons either have quit trying or don't know where to get started. "The biggest challenges are simply learning to swing and play, then gain access to golf courses. They don't need to be sold on the game. They just need instruction and facilities," said Andy Mears, Director of FGA Golf Operations and a PGA member. read more
