Titleist dominates at PGA Professional National Championship

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. -- As the country's top PGA professionals
competed for their 40th national championship at the Sunriver Resort in
Oregon, the momentum and unmatched success of Titleist across every major
equipment category was evident once again. From golf balls to drivers,
irons, wedges and putters, more players made Titleist their top choice in
equipment at the 2007 Professional National Championship than any other.

It is in venues such as the PGA Professional National Championship and 41
Sectional events where Titleist receives serious player affirmation that
its equipment objectives of quality and high performance across every
category are met and exceeded. PGA professionals devote their careers to
helping golfers improve and enjoy the game of golf. So when it comes to
choosing the highest performing equipment for their own games, just look in
their bags. Below is a breakdown of Titleist equipment success at the 2007
PGA Professional National Championship by category:

GOLF BALLS: Titleist continued its success story of being the #1 golf ball
at every PGA Professional National Championship since its inception in 1968
- 40 consecutive years. The overwhelming choice at the event once again,
180 players in the field of 312 trusted Titleist golf balls, more than all
other golf balls combined.

DRIVERS: For the 10th consecutive year, Titleist was the driver choice of
more players with 153, that's over 49 percent of the field. In fact, the
new Titleist 907D2 model was the most played driver at the event with 97
players, as many as the nearest competitor's total drivers combined.

FAIRWAY METALS: Titleist was the fairway metal of choice of more players
with 271, compared to 207 for the nearest competitor.

UTILITY METALS: Titleist also led in the Utility Metal count on the
strength of the popular PT 585.H with 120 in play, compared to 98 for the
nearest competitor.

IRONS: For the 15th consecutive year, Titleist achieved the distinction of
being the #1 iron at the PGA Professional National Championship, with more
players relying upon the solid feel and consistent performance of
Titleist's family of irons. With 150 sets in play, over 48 percent of the
field trusted Titleist irons compared to 88 sets for the nearest
competitor.

SAND, LOB AND APPROACH WEDGES: Bolstered by the tour-proven success and
momentum of the Vokey Design series, Titleist was the overwhelming sand,
lob and approach wedge choice of more players for the 9th consecutive year.
Titleist accounted for 357 wedges, over 51 percent of the field and more
than twice the nearest competitor with 178.

PUTTERS: Just as it is on the PGA Tour, Titleist continues to be the most
played putter at the PGA Professional National Championship. A total of
123 players placed their confidence in the feel and precision of Scotty
Cameron by Titleist putters, nearly twice the nearest competitor with 64.

The top 20 finishers at the National Championship qualified for the 89th
PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Okla. in August. Thirteen of
the 20 qualifiers rely on the Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for
their success, including 11 of whom are full-line Titleist Staff members.
Titleist Staff players include: Mike Small of Champaign, Ill., Ryan Benzel
of Seattle, Wash., Tim Thelen of College Station, Texas, Matthew Seitz of
Hutchinson, Kan., Don Yrene of Scottsdale, Ariz., Kelly Mitchum of
Southern Pines, N.C., Micah Rudosky of Cortez, Colo., Phil Schmitt of Baton
Rouge, La., Scott Hebert of Acme, Mich., Robert Gaus of St. Louis, Mo., and
Robert McGrath of San Jose, Calif. Erik Wolf of Palm Desert, Calif. and
Butch Sheehan of Rancho Mirage, Calif. are Titleist golf ball players.
