Born in Toronto, Canada, Bruce James has devoted his professional life to promoting a vision of comfort and luxury in the hospitality industry. His career has taken him far from home, with stops along the way in some of the Western Hemisphere's most desirable destinations. He was General Manager of Casa del Mar, Los Cabos, where he oversaw the complete renovation of the hotel. He was Director of Sales and Marketing at Toronto's first city-center hotel, Pantages Suites. He has managed hotel properties in Isla Mujeres and Cancun.
