Golfsmith Corp. begins selling anti-theft Gator Jaws Club Guard

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- RGO Enterprises and joint venture partner CYPRESS Industries (Austin, TX) announced that Golfsmith Corp. (Austin, TX) will begin retailing their new “Gator Jaws Club Guard” in all 68+ retail locations.

The “Gator Jaws Club Guard” is a patent pending product designed to prevent theft of golf clubs and golf bags. The insurance industry has reported that over $120 million in golf clubs are stolen every year from golf bags that were left unattended either at the golf course, from the vehicle, garages or at airports. The biggest theft targets are putters, wedges and expensive drivers. Individual clubs can be easily taken from an unattended golf bag with very little, if any notice. The “Gator Jaws Club Guard” prevents this type of theft.

“This unique device is constructed of lightweight durable materials that will last a life time and conveniently stores in the golf bag when not in use. It secures the golf clubs to the bag and the bag to a fixed structure. The unique “JAWS” form narrow channels that prevent clubs from being pulled out of the bag”.

Russ Goforth, Director of Operations for RGO Enterprises states “We market our line of products throughout the US through licensed distributors such as Hornung’s Golf Products, Charter Golf and J & M Golf Products. And our Gator Jaws product is manufactured and distributed by Cypress Industries, a worldwide manufacturer of a wide variety of products”. Golfsmith, based in Austin, TX is “one of the world's largest retail outlet for golf equipment, golf accessories, golf gear and golf clothing” with over 65 locations through-out the US and Canada.

The “Gator Jaws Club Guard” was featured on HGTV’s “I Want That” show in 2006 and is now available at all Golfsmith locations. For additional information go to www.rgoenterprises.com or www.gatorjawsclubguard.com .
