The Golf Course Builders Association of America has recently released its 2007 Membership Directory, providing golf course building professionals with convenient and comprehensive access to builder contacts and construction information. In addition to its new membership directory, the GCBAA announced the availability of its construction cost estimation CD-ROM, an essential tool for today's golf course builder.
Providing pertinent information for building or renovating a golf course, the GCBAA membership directory contains a complete listing of contact information for all national and international builders and suppliers who are members of the GCBAA. In addition, the directory highlights all GCBAA members who have met the selective guidelines and requirements for GCBAA certification.
Another feature of the directory is a reference section that includes an equivalency chart (metric and non-metric weights and measures), a formulas chart and an estimations reference to calculate materials and costs for golf course renovations and building.
GCBAA members receive an initial 2007 Membership Directory free of charge and can purchase additional directories for $50 each. Non-members can purchase the GCBAA's 2006 Membership Directory for $100.
Packed with regional estimation information for constructing courses across the country, the GCBAA's CD-ROM, entitled "Guide to Estimating the Cost of Golf Course Construction," was developed to assist golf course developers in understanding and accurately estimating costs for construction projects. Much of the information was obtained by surveying GCBAA members to determine various costs. The estimates also account for regional differences based on environmental considerations.
The CD-ROM includes a "Products and Services" section, GCBAA Membership Directory, bibliography, estimates for 25 major line items, detailed calculations section and contact information for the GCBAA.
GCBAA members can purchase the "Estimating Costs" CD-ROM for $50 per CD. Non-Members can purchase the CD-ROM, along with the GCBAA's 2007 Membership Directory, for a total cost of $100 per set. Contact http://www.gcbaa.org, 402-476-4444.
