MADISON, Ala. -- SK Fiber Golf, the manufacturer of internationally popular performance graphite golf shafts, has recently signed a distributor agreement with Tim Johnson of Utopia Golf in New Zealand. The agreement will make Utopia Golf New Zealand’s exclusive dealer. Tim Johnson, owner of Utopia Golf, and Charlie Blume, owner of SK Fiber Golf, anticipate a long and profitable business relationship as SK Fiber shafts are introduced throughout New Zealand.
Utopia Golf started doing business four months ago and is now marketing throughout the New Zealand area. In addition to supplying graphite shafts and club heads, Utopia offers club fitting, repair, assembly and golfing tours to a customer base that spans all ages. They are prepared to satisfy the needs of local golfers, pro shops and golf courses with a supply of heads and shafts, and provide a wide range of golfing tours to international visitors. The future is indeed bright for this company!
Since Utopia Golf is currently in the early stages of development, their website is not yet available to the public; however, Tim Johnson states the designated website, www.utopiagolfnz.com, will be functional by the end of May. If you are considering a golf vacation to New Zealand, this website will be the perfect place to research your trip and learn more about the beauty and availability of golfing excursions throughout this “down under” country!
Johnson has made plans to visit the United States for his PCS accreditation at the end of May. Please join us in giving him a warm welcome and a wish for a bright future with his company.

We are associated with one of South Korea’s leading carbon cloth manufacturers to produce only the highest quality composite materials for SK Fiber's graphite shafts. Our shafts are manufactured under the most stringent and exacting quality control measures in the golf shaft industry, which results in a shaft so consistent that we guarantee a frequency of +/- one cycle per minute.
The golf shaft is an important part of any golf club. Selecting the right shaft can give more distance and straighter golf shots. If you have the wrong shafts in your clubs no matter how hard you work, your golf game will still suffer. For more information visit www.skfiber.com
