PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- A group of 225 juniors representing 16 Greater Charleston youth and golf organizations will be introduced to premier golf instruction by more than 20 Carolinas PGA Professionals as the Senior PGA Championship presents its Community Relations Youth Golf Clinic, May 21, at 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., at Patriots Point Links in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

"The PGA Community Relations Program does not end once Championship Week has concluded. The work goes on year-round to support these organizations which perform tremendous work to assist and encourage children and their families."
The Youth Golf Clinic will feature trick-shot performer Peter Johncke, 42, of Jupiter, Fla., who in 2005 earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for most golf balls struck in a three-minute period (245). Kiawah Island/Sea Island Junior Golf
As Principals of Elementary Schools, our mission demands that we be in constant search of In School and Out of School activities that embrace programs that provide the resources and training necessary to enhance the development of our students in the areas of positive attitudes, focus and attention, respect and encouragement, and performance and desire. As such, we determined early on that the Kiawah Island/Sea Island Junior Golf Program shared our interest in those critical child development areas. They also established a very impressive rating system for all participants to determine their performance and progress in each of the above cited areas, including their observed interest in the game of golf. We continue to see the results played out in our schools in as many positive ways in an out of the classroom. And, we may be witnessing some very good future golfers.
