The 21st PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship will be conducted May 11-13, with golfers representing 38 historically minority colleges and universities challenging the newly-renovated Ryder and Wanamaker Courses at The PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

The three-day, 54-hole Championship features approximately 180 participants, an increase of nearly 50 participants from a year ago.
The Championship will consist of four divisions: Men’s Division I & II, NAIA Men’s, and Women’s. In addition there is an Individual Invitational of men and women contestants. In Division II, Fayetteville (N.C.) State University will attempt to win consecutive titles for the second time in their school’s Championship history. Also returning to defend their title in the NAIA Division is Johnson & Wales University of North Miami, Fla.
The Golf Channel will cover the event with a one-hour special airing June 6 at 3:00 p.m. and June 23 at 4:00 p.m. ET.
