Hear author John Feinstein on the latest TravelGolf.com podcast

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – John Feinstein, a bestselling author and sports columnist, took time out of his trip to the Wachovia Championship in Charlotte, N.C. to discuss his recent book "Tales from Q School: Inside Golf's Fifth Major" on the latest episode of the "TravelGolf.com This Week" internet radio program.

The podcast episode, debuting today on TravelGolf.com, provides an in depth look into the hectic world of the PGA Tour's Qualifying School, better known as "Q School". The podcast can be heard at:

In the podcast, Feinstein recalls one golfer's elation after making the cut only to find that his playing partner marked the incorrect score on one hole, causing him to miss the cut by a stroke.

"John Feinstein has the ability to work as an investigative journalist with the heart of a fan," said show host Dave Berner. "Our conversation was like talking to the ultimate 'insider' of professional golf. John knows so much, has been to so many places and knows so many good stories. He's a joy to talk with and an even bigger joy to read."
