WorldGolf.com network launches redesigned GolfGuideWeb.com

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Since the purchase of the WorldGolf.com network in January of this year, its new owners have been working to improve upon what is already known as the Internet’s most comprehensive network of golf-related Web sites. As these efforts continue, the WorldGolf.com network announces the relaunch of the overhauled GolfGuideWeb.com, which serves as the United States' most definitive online golf course directory.

By utilizing GolfGuideWeb.com, site visitors can click on a specific state and view a city-by-city directory of golf courses. Currently, GolfGuideWeb.com has more than 16,000 courses registered in its extensive database. General information listed for each course includes contact information, greens fee price ranges and course statistics including the slope ratings, USGA indexes, yardage and par for each tee box. As the site continues to evolve, photos, scorecards and course descriptions will become available. Visitors will also be able to provide feedback and reviews of the courses they play.

Along with specific city information, visitors can read feature stories about several of the country’s premier golf destinations including South Carolina, Arizona, California, Florida and Nevada.

Another benefit of GolfGuideWeb.com allows visitors to receive customized golf quotes for select golf destinations throughout Europe and the United States. A potential traveler, for example, can receive a quote for a St. Andrews golf getaway that will take into account the date, location, number of golfers, preferred tee times and the amount they are expecting to pay for both golf and lodging. The quote is then emailed to the visitor who can book the package or modify the details of their inquiry.

"Our goal in developing GolfGuideWeb.com is to provide visitors with a centralized Web site where they can obtain specific and targeted information about golf courses throughout the United States," said Will McIntosh, CEO of the WorldGolf.com network. "Whether you are in Hawaii or Florida, you can log on to GolfGuideWeb.com and locate the courses nearest you."
