Vijay Singh confirms participation in BMW PGA Championship

Vijay Singh, winner of two US PGA Championships, will be seeking a
unique trans-Atlantic 'double' next month after confirming his
participation in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club, Surrey,
England from May 24-27, 2007.

No player has previously claimed both titles but the 44 year old Fijian
has the chance to add the BMW PGA Championship on European soil, having
already captured the United States version in 1998 and 2004.

Singh, winner of 12 titles on The European Tour International Schedule
and an Honorary Member of the Tour, is excited at the prospect of facing
the new challenges of the West Course for the first time since the
refinements made to the famous Harry Colt design by Wentworth Club under
the scrutiny and control of Ernie Els.

Singh has missed only one cut in his 11 previous appearances at
Wentworth Club, said: "I have always enjoyed coming to Wentworth and I
have some great memories of the West Course. I have heard many glowing
reports of Ernie's changes and would like nothing better than to become
the first player to win the PGA titles on both sides of the Atlantic."

The 2007 BMW PGA Championship will boast one of the strongest
international fields on The European Tour Schedule, with many of the
world's best players in action. All four days will be broadcast live on
BBC Television.
