SALINE, Mich. -- Science and Motions Sports LLC, based out of Saline Michigan, has announced the release of the new SAM BalanceLab for general distribution. The USA based venture responsible for the sales and distribution of the SAM PuttLab introduced the new technology at the first Annual SAM Users Group Meeting & Certification Seminar being held at Cog Hill Country Club in Chicago. Because weight distribution and weight transfer are paramount to the development of a fundamentally sound golf swing, the Balance Lab will provide both teacher and student a technology tool to more quickly and effectively enhance the learning process.

SAM Balance Lab is the most accurate weight transfer technology analysis available to the golf industry. The Balance Lab technology works by measuring static and dynamic foot pressure and distribution, before and during the golf swing. Unlike previous force plate systems that only are comprised of four to six sensors and render data two dimensionally, the BalanceLab system uses over 2500 individual sensors and gives highly precise readings for center of gravity, load distribution, and torsion analysis. The BalanceLab displays results in a user friendly comprehensive report in both 2D & 3D graphical presentations. In the standard package the BalanceLab is also equipped with a video-synchronization output for time synchronization with a video camera.
