SAN DIEGO -- L1 Technologies, creator of the iGolf GPS Caddie, a handheld golf GPS device that provides golfers with the key distances on the course, has formed a partnership with the Ohio Valley Golf Association (OVGA) Amateur Golf Tour. The OVGA runs a competitive golf tour open to golfers of all handicap levels with the goal of raising money for charity. iGolf has teamed up with the Tour to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“This is a great opportunity that benefits all parties involved,” said David Alexander, L1 Technologies VP of Sales. “OVGA members have access to a great golf GPS device, the iGolf GPS Caddie gets put to good use by avid golfers, and, most importantly, money will be raised for a worthy cause.”
In addition to providing the distances to the green, the Caddie allows users to add up to eight custom points per hole and measure the distances of drives and other shots during the round. The GPS Caddie retails for $229.99 and is available at www.iGolf.com and retailers across the country.
