FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. -- Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center recently announced that Cleveland Golf donated $9,000 towards advancing breast cancer research and education efforts at the MemorialCare Breast Center. Since July 2006, Cleveland Golf has donated over $30,000 to the not-for-profit hospital. The Orange Coast Memorial Foundation was selected by the Huntington Beach-based Cleveland Golf as the beneficiary of its breast cancer awareness promotion. Cleveland Golf has pledged to give a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the CG11™ W-Series wedges to breast cancer treatment and research.

As the only not-for-profit hospital in our area, we are able to fulfill our mission of meeting the needs of our patients and community through donations from individuals and outstanding local businesses like Cleveland Golf,” said Marcia Manker, CEO of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. “This wonderful contribution to the Orange Coast Memorial Foundation will assist the renowned team at the MemorialCare Breast Center at Orange Coast to remain on the leading-edge of clinical research trials that provide the hope and promise of one day finding a cure for breast cancer.”

For more than nine years, the MemorialCare Breast Center at Orange Coast has provided the community with a team of prestigious physicians who devote themselves to the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer.
